Monster Cookies

Easy Halloween themed treat!

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup almond butter we have a slight peanut sensitivity in our house
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all purpose flour we like Gary's True Grit Einkorn flour, or King Arthur off the shelves
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup M&M's
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • Candy monster eyes for the tops of cookies

Instructions
 

  • Cream all butters, sugars, and wet ingredients.
  • Mix in dry ingredients.
  • Press monster eyes into the tops of cookies.
  • bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 mins. We love to bake on stoneware for a crispy outside and soft inside!
